Este día de San Valentín, ¡celebra el amor y la amistad en Hablemos en The New York Historical! Estaremos explorando la exhibición The Gay Harlem Renaissance. Nos sumergimos en este capítulo artístico y creativo de la historia de la ciudad de Nueva York a través de los eventos, el arte, la música y la literatura creada durante este movimiento cultural. Luego de inspirarnos por los frutos del Harlem Renaissance, ¡diseñaremos nuestro propio vinilo mientras escuchamos música en un tocadisco!
This Valentine’s Day, celebrate love and friendship at The New York Historical! We will explore the exhibition The Gay Harlem Renaissance and dive into this artistic and creative chapter in the history of New York City through the events, art, music, and literature created during this cultural movement. After being inspired by the fruits of the Harlem Renaissance, we’ll be designing our own vinyl record while we listen to music on a record player!
Hablemos de… ¡historia y arte! Este programa familiar se llevará a cabo en modalidad presencial dentro del museo. La sesión incluye un recorrido guiado en español con actividades creativas y merienda.
Let’s talk about…history and art! Join us for this family program in person at the Museum. Each session includes a Spanish-speaking guided visit with creative activities and a snack.
