The author of more than 50 novels, as well as numerous volumes of poetry, short stories, and nonfiction, and the winner of dozens of awards in the 60-plus years since she published her first book, Joyce Carol Oates is a living literary legend. In this conversation punctuated by film clips, she sits down with Antonio Monda to discuss her life, career, and boundary-pushing work.
Joyce Carol Oates is the award-winning author of more than 50 novels, as well as numerous volumes of poetry, short stories, and nonfiction. Antonio Monda (moderator) is artistic director of Le Conversazioni literary festival and also served as director of the Rome Film Festival.
