Little New-Yorkers: A Moon for Moe and Mo
Event Details:
This week, many families are beginning their celebration of Ramadan. In A Moon for Moe and Mo, written by Jane Breskin Zalben and illustrated by Mehrdokht Amini, Mo Hassan and his mother are preparing for Ramadan when they meet Moe Feldman and his mother in the market as they prepare for Rosh Hashanah. The two boys quickly become friends and share together in neighborhood fun and holiday celebrations! After the story, we’ll use clay to make Ramadan date cookies!
Join us every Tuesday and Friday at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
Location:
Lower level at The New York Historical, 170 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024
