Little New-Yorkers: All of a Kind Family Hanukkah
- Tuesday, December 16, 2025
- Free with Museum admission
- Ages: 3–6 years
Event Details:
This week we are celebrating Hanukkah with a special visit and read-aloud from PJ Library. Based on Sydney Taylor’s classic All-of-a-Kind Family books, in today’s story, All-of-a-Kind Family Hanukkah, written by Emily Jenkins and illustrated by Paul O. Zelinsky, we’ll find five sisters preparing for the first night of Hanukkah! They make latkes, recite blessings, and light the menorah. After the read-aloud, make your own Hanukkah helper candle craft!
Join us every Tuesday and Friday at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
Location:
Lower level at The New York Historical, 170 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024
