Little New-Yorkers: Anna Strong A Spy During the American Revolution
Event Details:
This month we are celebrating the Historical’s new Revolutionary Women exhibition with stories of women who left their mark on the American Revolution. In Anna Strong, written by Sarah Glenn Marsh and illustrated by Sarah Green, we’ll learn how Anna made her way into the Culper Ring intelligence network during the Revolution. She cleverly used spycraft to covertly share information with patriot soldiers. After the story, we’ll use spy codes to share secret messages like Anna!
Join us every Tuesday and Friday at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
Location:
Lower level at The New York Historical, 170 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024
