Little New-Yorkers: From a Small Seed: the Story of Eliza Hamilton
Event Details:
This month we are celebrating The Historical’s new Revolutionary Women exhibition with stories of women who left their mark on the American Revolution. Today we’ll meet Eliza Schuyler Hamilton in From a Small Seed, written by Camille Andros and illustrated by Tessa Blackham. From the time she was a young girl, Eliza worked to care for those in need. As she grew, Eliza and her husband Alexander Hamilton worked to shape the United States, and in her later years, she created orphanages and schools in New York City. After the story, make a tree craft to share the ways you serve your community!
Join us every Tuesday and Friday at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.

Lower level at The New York Historical, 170 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024
